How we work
We size and manage the setup — the physical hardware runs through infrastructure partners.
theonrep doesn't operate its own server fleet, and we think that's actually the honest position to be in: we're not incentivized to push you toward whichever box we happen to own capacity on. We spec the right server type and configuration for your workload, handle deployment and migration, and manage the software layer running on top. The physical hardware itself is provisioned through infrastructure partners we work with and disclose clearly on each page.

What we're not incentivized to do
No server fleet to fill means no reason to steer you toward the wrong tier.
A lot of hosting advice online comes from people or companies that make more money the bigger plan you buy. We don't sell server capacity — our fee is for getting the sizing and configuration right, so there's no upside for us in recommending more than you need.

VPS is a virtualized slice of a shared physical machine — cheapest and most flexible, fine for most web apps. Dedicated is one physical machine entirely yours, with no shared-tenant resource caps. GPU servers are dedicated hardware built specifically around GPU count and cooling for AI, rendering or scientific compute — a different spec question entirely from general-purpose CPU workloads.
No — we don't operate our own server fleet. We size and configure the right setup for your workload and manage the software layer running on it. The physical infrastructure is provisioned through trusted hosting partners, disclosed clearly on each server type's page.

Generally yes — VPS to dedicated, or adding GPU capacity alongside an existing setup, are both common migration paths. We'd plan the move so it doesn't mean starting over from scratch.
